New York State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a woman who has been wanted since 2008.
Investigators in Farmingdale issued an alert for Svetlana Alkhovka, who is wanted by the New York State Police and Nassau County Court following an arrest in November 2007 for driving while intoxicated. A bench warrant was issued for her arrest on Sept. 23, 2008 after she failed to appear in court.
Alkhovka, 52, was described by police as 5-foot-5 weighing approximately 150 pounds with green eyes and brown hair. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts, or who recognizes her has been asked to contact New York State Police investigators by calling (631) 756-3300 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
